In Nashville, the best deal I've found (and the only one I've personally experienced) is via Metroparks. For $70.00 + the cost of clay, you get 10 three-hour classes (once a week for 10 weeks) that teach you everything from wheel throwing and slab rolling to kiln firing and glaze finishing.
